We have spelling tests every Friday in 2nd grade!
Please review your childs' spelling words with them.
Spelling lists will be sent home on Mondays in student folders
and are also up on the Superkids website.
You will notice a few practice spelling sheets coming home.
You can also do extra practice by having kids spell them out at the dinner table,
write the words with marker or pen, use the words in a sentence, etc.
There is also a fluency reading practice sheet that will come home in your
child's folder. Fluent reading is the ability to read accurately, quickly,
and with expression. Please make sure that they are working on these
three things while reading and re-reading this short text 3 times!
